🌿 Big News — NDIThrive Is Moving to Pearcedale! 🌿

With the incredible growth of NDIThrive and so many wonderful clients joining our community, we knew it was time to create something more permanent — a place where our vision for the future could truly grow.

We’ve always had big dreams for the people we support. Dreams of long-term programs, meaningful opportunities, stability and continuity. To make those dreams possible, we knew we had to take the next step.

💚 So we did. WE BOUGHT A FARM!

From June 2026, NDIThrive will officially call Pearcedale our permanent home.

This beautiful property will allow us to expand everything that has made NDIThrive so special, while building even more opportunities for the people we support and the wider community.

Many people discovered what makes NDIThrive unique during our time in Bangholme — and now we’re excited to bring that same passion, innovation and heart to Pearcedale.

🌱 What’s coming to our new home:

• Expanded farm-based programs including after school and weekend programs
• Employment pathway opportunities for participants
• Dedicated School Leavers Employment Supports (SLES) programs - already running but expanded upon significantly
• Partnerships with local schools to support students transitioning into meaningful adult programs
• A vibrant Art Centre
• Cafe and community shops creating real-life work experience opportunities

We’re already working closely with Peninsula Specialist College, Cranbourne Secondary College, Peninsula Autism School and so many more local schools to help NDIS school leavers transition into programs that build skills, independence, confidence and real-life experiences.

Being located close to the Pearcedale town centre allows us to remain what we’ve always aimed to be — a central hub of meaningful inclusion where community, creativity and opportunity come together.

✨ We can’t wait to welcome the local community and continue building a place where people can truly learn, grow and thrive.

🌿🐣 BIG NEWS FROM THE FARM! 🐣🌿

Our NDIThrive family has grown again!

We’re so excited to introduce our new 18-month-old emu chicks, Bodhi and Lotus, who have officially joined Edwina (Eddie) — and we can finally say we have a true mob!

Bodhi and Lotus are incredibly inquisitive, friendly, and already making themselves right at home. They’ve brought a beautiful new energy to the farm and are such a special addition to our animal-assisted programs.

And speaking of exciting arrivals… 👀

🐴 Jenny our Donkey is imminently about to give birth to her very first foal!
She’s comfortably settled in her yard, we’re monitoring her closely, and the countdown is officially on. Stay tuned for updates — it won’t be long now!

We’re also thrilled to welcome Ellie, the newest member of the NDIThrive team. She has absolutely hit the ground running and fits in effortlessly with our participants, animals and programs. Welcome, Ellie!

🧚‍♀️NEW OFFERING AT NDITHRIVE FARM 🧚‍♂️

Our Anxiety and Stress Management Workshops are designed to support participants in understanding, managing, and responding to stress and anxiety in a safe, supportive group setting.

Across this program, participants will learn practical tools to recognise stress responses, understand how anxiety shows up in the body, and develop effective strategies to regulate emotions and respond to triggers.

The workshops focus on building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence — both within the sessions and out in the community.

Participants will be supported to:

Recognise stress and anxiety responses in the body

Learn grounding and regulation strategies

Build confidence in managing triggers and stressors

Strengthen communication around needs and boundaries

Develop a sense of internal safety and self-trust

Apply skills in real-world and community settings

The overall goal of the program is to help participants feel safe enough within themselves to create personal safety systems, recognise what safety feels like, and respond effectively when faced with challenging situations.

This program is expected to run for 8–12 weeks, meeting weekly at 4pm on Tuesday's. Reach out if you are interested - STARTS THIS WEEK!

Farm Hand – NDIS Farm (Bangholme, VIC)

NDIThrive is seeking a hardworking, practical Farm Hand to join our team at our 23-acre NDIS farm in Bangholme.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys farm work, isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and takes pride in keeping a working farm running smoothly while supporting a positive environment for people with disability.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday: 2 hours in the morning

About the Role
This is a hands-on, physical role. Daily tasks include (but are not limited to):

Animal feeding and care, including livestock and reptiles

Manure collection and cleaning animal areas

Cleaning and maintaining water troughs

Fencing repairs and general troubleshooting

Monitoring animal welfare and farm safety

Working outdoors in heat, cold, flies, dust and farm conditions

Supporting a safe, calm and well-maintained farm environment

This role is not suited to someone looking for light duties — it involves real farm work.

About You

Not afraid of hard, physical work

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Confident around animals of all sizes and species

Practical, observant and able to troubleshoot problems independently

Reliable, punctual and consistent

Previous farm, animal or grounds experience highly regarded

Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, working in an NDIS environment

NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and Working with Childrens Check (or willingness to obtain these)

Own vehicle and preferably able to drive manual

Big day on the farm today 🌱✨

We’re excited to officially welcome Andie, who is beginning her transition across from our sister business, The Living Earth Co., as we move toward closing that chapter. Andie starts immediately, and we are looking forward to seeing her bring the energy, passion and heart she brings to the The Living Earth Co. team to the NDIThrive Farm. We’re so excited for what’s ahead.

We also had some very special news in the Nocturnal Fold — our sugar gliders have welcomed two beautiful babies! Twin girls, lovingly named Honey and Willow 🐾💛

On top of that, we onboarded a last-minute client into our LIFE SKILLS Program, which kicks off tomorrow… and with that, we realised we’ve officially reached 105 client intakes 🎉

For a company that started just 12 months ago, the growth has been nothing short of exponential. We are so incredibly proud of our team and the close-knit community that continues to grow around this place.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the family, discovered the powerful goodness that simply being on the farm can bring, and experienced firsthand that a truly holistic program is unlike anything else out there 🌾💚

Casino, our very own unicorn pony, absolutely nailed the obstacle course today — no lead, just trust ✨

Today marked the very first EAL session for our beautiful new horses, and wow… did they shine!

The smiles on our participants’ faces and the eagerness to please from our sun-soaking superstars are a powerful reminder of why we do what we do 💛

We’re thrilled to introduce our newest arrivals here at NDIThrive Farm — Daisy (18 months - yellow) and Rosey (12 months - red)! These two distinguished ladies come from long lines of pure Highland ancestry — true Scottish royalty with the hair to prove it! 🇬🇧🐂

With their majestic coats and gentle personalities, Daisy and Rosey are already stealing our hearts. Keep an eye out for upcoming photo opportunities, photoshoots, and meet & greet sessions — we can’t wait for you to fall in love with them too! ❤️📸

✨ XMAS 2025 WRAP-UP | WHAT. A. YEAR. ✨

What a year it’s been at NDIThrive! As we wrap up 2025, we’re feeling incredibly proud, grateful and excited about just how much our Thrive family has grown.
This year we’ve welcomed so many amazing new clients, incredible new staff (Please Welcome Simone!!), and of course plenty of new animals to our special place in Bangholme.
Our farm has truly come alive, and what started as a vision is fast becoming a landmark of inclusion, connection and opportunity. 🌱🐐🐴

And then… the NDIThrive Xmas Party 🎄

It was a smashing success from start to finish –
