THE STORY:
I started making my own skin care after working for many years in the beauty and cosmetics industry. I strive to make natural and organic skin care that is gentle on the skin yet effective, healing and treating the skin, our largest organ, susceptible to today’s challenging environment. Pure and simple are better alternatives using non-toxic ingredients for astringents or preservatives. Fascination with the epidermis and its resilient response to natural oils and extracts instigated a search for effective skin products. This made me think about all the ingredients used in beauty/bath products and how few are safe for human consumption. Not many… My hope is to provide a means for softer, hydrated, and smoother skin with awareness about product integrity. Offering ingredients safe to use even on a previous baby! Our Organic sugar scrubs are made with Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, and Organic Grapeseed Oil. The raw organic sugar acts as an exfoliant, helping remove dead skin cells as the oils moisturize and protect new fresh skin cells. These oils are antiseptic and anti-microbial while containing two anti-oxidants: ferulic acid and p-coumaric acid. Our 100% organic coconut oil is known for its healing properties, diminishing scars, wounds, acne, and stretch marks. Coconut oil is also a natural sun protector and is excellent to soften rough patches of skin on the elbows, knees, and heals. Sweet Almond Oil contains high amounts of Vitamin E, linoleic acids, used to heal and soften the skin as well. These scrubs can be used as a last step in the shower, before or after shaving, or in the bath. Simply apply and scrub in a circular motion, then rinse. Skip the moisturizer- You won’t need it!! Each scrub comes with a wooden spoon to scoop, avoiding jar contamination from wet hands and water. Available in 8oz. dark blue recycled plastic jars. Enjoy and spread the LOVE!
