After more than 14 years of dedicated service, we take this opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the remarkable contribution of Sue Morris to the Rural Locum Service and the wider midwifery workforce. Sue’s final day with the Rural Locum Service is today, marking the end of an extraordinary chapter of service., as she steps into retirement.
Sue has been a tireless advocate for rural midwives and rural midwifery. Her work extended well beyond locum coordination, encompassing mentoring support, rural education workshops, and assistance with relocation and establishment grants.
Sue is known for her kindness, empathy, and exceptional listening ear. Her unwavering commitment to caring for and supporting midwives through their times of need has left a lasting impact.
