Please stop shaming people who take medications to improve their health. This is 2026, let’s get with the times. Let’s follow the science. And yes, let’s move our bodies and eat well. These two statements are not mutually exclusive. Oh, and one more thing (which I’ll probably get a lot backlash on)… if you have never struggled with your own weight, please refrain from telling others how easy / simple it is to maintain a healthy weight.

Not anti-peptide over here—I love peptides and use plenty in my practice… the key word being FDA-approved.

But let’s be real: the peptide world is getting out of control. Call them peptides, meds, or supplements—they’re powerful (or at least have the potential to be). And for many? We don’t even have solid human studies.

Bottom line: you’re injecting something into your body. That’s serious.

If you’re going to use peptides, do it the right way—work with a doctor who actually knows what they’re doing.

At MALI, I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all protocol. I don’t come in with an agenda. I start by listening—really listening—to your story. Then I carefully evaluate your blood work, your symptoms, and your goals.

From there, we create a plan together—one that actually works for you.

Yes, I prescribe HRT when it’s appropriate. But menopause is never just about hormones. It impacts your brain, your metabolism, your sleep, your mood—your entire body.

Most chronic disease doesn’t start where we finally notice it… it starts below the surface.

What we see:
• Elevated A1C

Medicine is nuanced. It’s not a guarantee, and it’s never one-size-fits-all.

Be wary of anyone selling you a “quick fix” or speaking in absolutes—especially online. That kind of certainty might sound reassuring, but it often isn’t honest.

Influencers thrive on simple answers because they’re easy to sell. But oversimplifying complex health issues can create false hope—and worse, it can take advantage of people when they’re most vulnerable.

Your health deserves more than a shortcut. It deserves honesty, nuance, and care.

RFK: “Nutrition is the foundation of health.”

Everyone in healthcare: …yes. We know. We’ve been knowing. 😅

The issue isn’t that doctors forgot vegetables exist. It’s that the system is basically like:
“Hey, you’ve got 8 minutes, 3 forms, 2 diagnoses, and 1 prior auth… go ahead and fix their entire lifestyle. Good luck 💕”

Insurance will cover a procedure in a heartbeat… but a real, sit-down, life-changing conversation about nutrition?
Best we can do is a pamphlet and a dream.

So yeah—nutrition matters. A lot.

But until the system stops timing us like it’s a game show, we’re all just out here trying to prescribe kale in a drive-thru model 🥬🚗💨

Nearly HALF of postmenopausal women experience low libido—and guess what? There are real, science-backed treatment options. Same goes for midlife weight gain: it’s not a willpower problem, no matter how many times you’ve been told to “eat less, move more.”
