🌿 I help women reclaim their health through plant-based nutrition, mindset shifts & mindful living—backed by 10+ years of experience & a Plant-Based Nutrition Cert from the T. Hi, I’m Jessica—a 51-year-old mama of three with a deep passion for plant-based nutrition, wellness, and animal rights. 🌱

My journey began in 2012 when I became a vegetarian, and six years later, I fully embraced a vegan, plant-based lifestyle—a decision that has transformed every part of my life. Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in the science and power of plant-based living, dedicating time to health documentaries, expert podcasts, and most recently, earning my Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from the T. What I've discovered is nothing short of life-changing: through food, we can heal from the inside out. A whole food, plant-based lifestyle doesn’t just help us prevent chronic disease—it can actually reverse it. 🙌

As women in midlife, we have the ability to reclaim our energy, balance our hormones, and feel confident in our skin—with the right nutrition, mindset shifts, and mindful practices. So if you're a woman 40–60 who's struggling with weight gain, low energy, wild hormones, or just feeling disconnected from your best self—I’m here to guide you. Let’s transform your health, together. You are so worth it. 💚

I wasn’t always this woman.

In my 20s and 30s, I was inflamed, uncomfortable, and disconnected from my body.
Digestive distress after almost every meal.
Cramping. Endometriosis.
Body dysmorphia that made me feel like I was never enough.

I thought it was normal.
I thought it was just “how my body was.”

Then I learned the truth about where animal products come from.

I transitioned to vegetarian.
Then fully plant-based.

Everything changed.

My digestion normalized.
The inflammation faded.
The extra weight and bloating melted away.
My energy came back.
My mind felt clearer.

I stopped drinking alcohol.
I leaned into mindfulness & continued moving.
I aligned my actions with my values.

And my body responded.

Ladies — especially in midlife — you do not have to accept chronic inflammation, stubborn weight, fatigue, and discomfort as your “new normal.”

Your body wants to heal.
It just needs the right environment.

If you’re ready to feel lighter, clearer, and more confident in your skin…

I would love to support you.

FIRST they normalize foods that slowly break the body…
THEN they normalize pills to manage the damage.

Ultra-processed foods weren’t designed to nourish you. They were designed to be convenient, addictive, and profitable.

These products are often loaded with:

• Artificial dyes and flavor enhancers
• Excess sodium, sugar, and unhealthy fats
• Preservatives and chemical additives
• Ingredients that drive inflammation and metabolic dysfunction

Over time, diets high in ultra-processed foods are strongly associated with increased risk of:

• Heart disease
• Type 2 diabetes
• Obesity
• Hormonal imbalance
• Fatigue, brain fog, and chronic inflammation

When the body is constantly burdened, symptoms appear. And instead of addressing the root cause, society is taught to manage symptoms rather than remove the source.

But here’s the truth they don’t emphasize enough:

Your body has an incredible ability to heal when you give it the right environment.

Whole plant foods—fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, and seeds—provide:

• Fiber to repair the gut
• Antioxidants to reduce inflammation
• Phytonutrients that protect your cells
• Nutrients that support true, lasting wellness

This isn’t deprivation.
This is liberation.

You are not stuck. You can reclaim your health starting today.

3 powerful steps you can take right now:
1. Start replacing, not restricting.
Swap one processed food today for a whole plant alternative.
Example: chips → roasted chickpeas, candy → fresh fruit.
2. Eat foods that come from the earth, not a factory.
If it doesn’t need an ingredient list, it’s likely supporting your health.
3. Build meals around plants.
Beans, lentils, potatoes, rice, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds should be your foundation—not an afterthought.

Every whole plant meal is a message to your body:
Repair. Restore. Thrive.

If you’re ready to break free from the cycle and step into true health, I’m here to guide you. 🌱

It’s easy to feel like our healthcare system is designed to manage disease… rather than prevent it.

But here’s the truth: many of the most common chronic illnesses today—heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity—are strongly linked to lifestyle. And one of the most powerful tools we have to protect ourselves isn’t found in a prescription bottle… it’s found on our plate.

A whole foods plant-based diet has been scientifically shown to help:
• Reduce inflammation
• Improve heart health
• Support healthy weight loss
• Improve insulin sensitivity
• Increase energy and vitality
• And in many cases, prevent or even reverse chronic disease

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about reclaiming your power.

Every time you choose whole plant foods—fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, and seeds—you are nourishing your cells, supporting your body’s natural ability to heal, and investing in your future.

If you want to start today, begin with these two simple steps:
1️⃣ Replace one animal-based meal today with a plant-based one—even something simple like oatmeal, a bean-based dish, or a hearty salad.
2️⃣ Add more whole plant foods to what you already eat—throw berries in your breakfast, add beans to your lunch, or include vegetables with dinner.

Small actions, repeated daily, create powerful change.

You deserve to feel vibrant. Clear-minded. Strong. Alive.
Your body is not broken. It responds to what you give it.

If you’re ready to take control of your health and transition to a nourishing, sustainable plant-based lifestyle, I’m here to guide and support you. 🌱

You don’t need permission to take your health back. You don’t need a Monday, a new year, or a rock bottom moment.

You simply need a decision.

A decision to stop abandoning yourself.
A decision to stop accepting fatigue, inflammation, weight gain, pain, or disconnection as your “normal.”
A decision to believe that your body is capable of healing, regenerating, and thriving.

Because it is.

Every single day, your body is rebuilding itself at the cellular level. And what you feed it matters. When you move away from an animal-based diet — one linked to inflammation and many of our most common chronic diseases — and begin nourishing yourself with whole, plant foods rich in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and phytonutrients, you create an internal environment where healing can begin.

Not overnight.
Not perfectly.
But powerfully.

It may feel overwhelming. You may doubt yourself. You may wonder if you’re capable of making such a change.

You are.

You don’t have to do everything at once. You just have to begin. One plant-based meal. One intentional choice. One moment of choosing your future over your past.

Progress is not built on perfection. It is built on consistency, compassion, and remembering your WHY.

Why do you want to feel better?
Why do you want more energy?
Why do you want to be here longer for the people you love?
Why do you want to truly live — not just exist?

You are not stuck. Your body is not broken. And it is never too late to become the person you are meant to be.

If you’re ready to take control of your health and transition to a nourishing, whole-foods plant-based lifestyle, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way. 🌱

“Heart disease is America’s leading killer, but eating nuts and seeds daily is one of the most powerful steps you can take to protect your heart.

The science is clear: regular nut consumption reduces cholesterol, improves blood vessel function, lowers blood pressure, and cuts your risk of cardiovascular death by 39%.

This Heart Health Month, make nuts and seeds a non-negotiable part of your daily diet. Your heart will thank you with extra years of healthy life. https://www.drfuhrman.com/blog/141/nuts-and-seeds-help-keep-disease-away”

What we feed our children today shapes their health for the rest of their lives. 🌱

Research shows that children raised on plant-based diets have significantly lower LDL cholesterol—the type of cholesterol linked to heart disease. And this matters, because heart disease doesn’t suddenly appear in adulthood. It often begins silently in childhood.

A whole foods plant-based diet gives children exactly what their growing bodies need:
✨ Fiber to support gut health and immunity
✨ Antioxidants to protect their cells
✨ Vitamins and minerals to support brain development
✨ Clean, nourishing energy to help them thrive, play, and excel

Children raised on balanced plant-based diets have been shown to maintain healthy body weights, perform well physically, and build strong foundations for lifelong wellness.

Meanwhile, childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes are rising at alarming rates—conditions that were once considered adult diseases. The good news is that these outcomes are largely influenced by lifestyle and nutrition.

When we nourish our children with fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, and seeds, we are not restricting them—we are empowering them. We are helping their hearts, their brains, and their bodies function at their best.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about giving our kids the strongest, healthiest start possible. 💚

If you’re interested in raising your family on nourishing plant-based foods and want guidance, I’m here to help. I am personally raising 3 beautiful, healthy, happy & compassionate children💚.

Processed meats have been classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the World Health Organization — the same category as to***co and asbestos.
This isn’t speculation.

That means foods like deli meats, bacon, ham, and sausages are proven to cause cancer, particularly colorectal cancer.

But why?

Processed meats contain compounds that damage our cells at the most fundamental level:

• Nitrites and nitrates used for preservation can form cancer-causing compounds called nitrosamines inside the body
• Heme iron, found only in animal flesh, promotes oxidative stress and DNA damage
• Chronic inflammation triggered by processed animal products creates an internal environment where disease can thrive
• Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) formed during processing accelerate aging and cellular damage

Every bite either supports healing… or contributes to harm.

The empowering truth? We are not dependent on these foods. There are abundant, delicious, and protective alternatives from whole plant foods.

Choose foods that support your cells, not damage them:

• Beans and lentils
• Chickpeas and hummus
• Tofu, tempeh, and edamame
• Whole grains like quinoa and brown rice
• Nuts and seeds
• Vegetables in all their variety and color

These foods don’t just avoid harm — they actively protect you. They provide fiber, antioxidants, and phytonutrients that help prevent cancer and support long-term health.

When you choose whole plant foods, you reduce inflammation, support cellular repair, and give your body the tools it was designed to thrive with.

Your daily choices matter. Your future health is being built today.

If you’re ready to transition to a whole food plant-based lifestyle and want support, guidance, and structure, I’m here for you. Send me a message!.
You don’t have to do this alone. 🌱

Let’s not forget.
Human beings are not biologically dependent on pharmaceutical products for survival.
Pharmaceutical companies are financially dependent on human beings for survival.”

This is not about rejecting medicine when it is truly necessary. Modern medicine can save lives in emergencies and acute situations. But the reality is this: most of the chronic diseases people suffer from today are largely preventable—and in many cases, reversible—through lifestyle.

Our bodies were designed to heal, regenerate, and thrive when we support them properly.

That support starts with the daily choices we make:

• Nourishing our bodies with whole, plant foods rich in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals
• Moving our bodies regularly to support circulation, strength, and metabolic health
• Managing stress through mindfulness, breathwork, time in nature, and rest
• Prioritizing quality sleep so our bodies can repair and restore
• Surrounding ourselves with supportive, healthy relationships
• Reducing or eliminating substances that harm our cells

Every single cell in your body responds to how you live.

When you nourish your body properly, inflammation decreases.
Your metabolism improves.
Your immune system strengthens.
Your energy increases.
Your risk of chronic disease drops significantly.

And as a result, your reliance on medications often decreases—not because of luck, but because you addressed the root cause instead of masking symptoms.

You have more power than you’ve been led to believe.

Health isn’t built in a pharmacy.
It’s built in your kitchen, your daily habits, your mindset, and your lifestyle.

Start small. Start today. Your future self is built by what you do now.

If you’re ready to take control of your health and transition to a plant-based lifestyle, I’m here to guide and support you. Send me a DM or join our Vegan Squad community. (Reach out for a free month of 1:1 coaching and access to our beautiful Skool community!)🌱

SOY IS NOT THE VILLAIN. MISINFORMATION IS. 🌱

After my dairy post, someone questioned why I’d recommend soy as an alternative.

Let’s talk science — not fear.

The original “soy causes cancer” panic came from rodent studies using extremely high doses of isolated compounds. We are not mice. Those results do not translate to humans eating whole soy foods.

In large human studies, soy is consistently shown to be safe — and beneficial.

🌏 For centuries, populations in Asia consumed soy (tofu, tempeh, miso, edamame) as a primary protein source and had historically lower rates of breast cancer and heart disease. Rates increased as diets westernized — adding more dairy, meat, and processed foods.

💛 Soy & Women’s Health
Soy contains isoflavones (phytoestrogens) that gently bind to estrogen receptors:
• When estrogen is low (menopause), they can mildly support balance and reduce hot flashes.
• When estrogen is high, they can block stronger estrogen activity.
• Soy intake is associated with reduced breast cancer risk and lower recurrence rates — not increased risk.

❤️ Heart Health
Soy protein helps lower LDL cholesterol, improves arterial function, and reduces inflammation. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recognizes soy protein as heart-protective.

🌱 It’s a complete protein.
🌱 It’s cholesterol-free.
🌱 It contains fiber, iron, magnesium, antioxidants.
🌱 It does not contain mammalian hormones designed to grow a calf.

Whole soy foods are safe. They are beneficial. And especially supportive for women.

Let’s stop letting outdated mouse studies and industry fear campaigns dictate our health choices.

If you need help transitioning to plant-based alternatives with confidence, I’m here. 💚 DM me or join our community for real science, real support.
