Wow. I tried my hardest to avoid calling it a wedding but here it was… a wedding by definition: a marriage ceremony, and it was a huge celebration. And our love deserved it! What I planned to be a low key gathering in the mountains became such a beautiful elegant gathering of our most beloved family and friends at one of our favorite places. I cry just thinking of how far some of our family and friends travelled to celebrate us. And how magical this was for our babies who have experienced the highs and lows of divorce and remarriage but have been troopers through it all.

As low key (and low budget 😅) as I tried to keep it, the angels kept whispering to me…

“This Love deserves celebration.”

Confirmed by the most beautiful rainbow ribbon down the sky immediately following our prayer circle.

So ♥️thank you a million times over to everyone that came out to celebrate our love and our sweet little family, we feel stronger and even more unbreakable because of you.

This past week, the theme of ‘quiet’ has been showing up again and again—in my own life, in my client sessions, even in Soul Medicine circles.

Quieting the noise.
The overwhelm.
The way emotions like frustration or anger can build up until they create this static interference between us and the guidance we most need.

I’ve noticed it in myself, when I’m caught in the swirl, I can’t hear God as clearly. I can’t feel the Spirit World as close. Even my own higher self feels muffled. And that distance makes it so much harder to respond with compassion when it’s needed most.

But when I step back into the quiet… the magic returns. ✨
That’s when the whispers come through. That’s when I feel held, guided, and steady again.

I told the kids our summer doesn’t end (so no F*ghin fall decor!!) until September 15th… and my my did we live up this last stretch of ‘summer’. So so grateful to call this place home and to be raising my babies here. I kept saying to them which I know they can’t quite grasp… you guysssss (!) we did not have this in Ohio growing up!!! I only could’ve dreamt of this life , and now that dream IS your life 🥹🥲🧜🏾‍♀️

Anyway, off to buy pumpkins now 😁🎃🍁😘

Mommy always said the worst pain anyone could ever experience is the loss of a child. She herself experienced it, with the loss of Stevie at age 11 to a drunk driver. Even though sister B and I were born years after his passing, We felt the pain of his loss as well.

Two weeks ago my dear friends and neighbors Mollie and Ryan’s sweet 4 month old baby Josie left this plain. Knowing the pain we’ve felt just witnessing it I cannot imagine the pain of experiencing it. We’ve had many conversations about God, purpose, souls journeys, signs, free will and life after death these past couple weeks. These are conversations I have everyday with clients, but they hit differently these past two weeks.

I love what their pastor shared in Josie’s celebration of life yesterday. He said, we will have these questions, and then, let them be. We don’t have to answer them.

If you have questions about these deep concepts, I’ve found much peace in sitting in silence, talking with nature talking with God and the spirit world, and opening up through the silence for the answers. The answers come, but they don’t always come quickly. Sometimes they come through signs, recommended books, conversations with a pastor, a dream, a whisper in the back of the mind… but the silence opens up the space for them to come.

There are many books I’ve found helpful for myself and my clients through times like these. If you or someone you love is experiencing the pain of loss, there are at least a thousand books on the topic. But here are my favorites:

I was pretty unplugged this summer, very little posting and nearly zero scrolling for months. And it was glorious… Here’s a snapshot of the last week (!).. just ONE incredible magical week here in this little town of ours. In one week, romantic sunset boat night, tried holding for the first time (!), local winery with friends, Funland (twice!), beach days with friends and family and many beautiful sunsets. We didn’t leave this summer. After our trip we stayed close to home and I’m not mad about it.

I count my blessings everyday that my actual life (on most days) feels like a vacation. To those who think it’s not possible, I promise you it is. All you have to do is decide it’s possible for you and take those guided steps.

And sometimes those guided steps seem crazy. Or unbelievable. But I listen and trust God (universe whatever you want to call it!) and have not been led astray. We took a big crazy leap this last year, some of you know about, which was very costly and very risky very time consuming and VERY STRESSFUL but full of promise. A crucial building block in this dreamy life we’re still building together. (We’ll share that very soon ✨) Which is also why we made some sacrifices and forfeited travel this summer, but again, we didn’t even need to leave our own backyard 🥹♥️✨🌊 .

❤️ … #14… 🥵🔥😍

This was the most fun OC Lax tournament I’ve attended yet! So proud of my husband for his hard work and devotion and showing up everyday giving it his all, I’m in awe! Sitting in the hot sun was hard enough (☺️) , I couldn’t imagine playing in it! And, Such a great group of high vibe men and their lovely wives… I hope it’s not a year before we get to hang out again!
