Madill Funeral Directors is a funeral business set up and owned by Marcus Madill. The business is based just outside the village of Lisbellaw which is 6 miles from Enniskillen in the County Fermanagh. From an early age becoming a funeral director has always interested me. In 2006 I made the decision to start my funeral training. I completed my first course within my first year. After this I then s

tudied and completed my Diploma in Funeral Directing, which has become a great asset to me. Down through the years I have met with many people and made many good friends, through very different circumstances. Every funeral you carry out is always different from the last. To me it is very rewarding, to be able to go into a family and take a little bit off the stress away from them, by making arrangements on their behalf, and taking care of their loved one with dignity and respect. Each phone call I receive always makes me realise that this family has entrusted me, to help them arrange that final farewell for their loved one. This is a great responsibility to be asked to carry out, and I hope that I can continue to do so for many years to come.
