Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming members of our community into our new office space for the launch of our Client Care Packs. Designed thoughtfully by our team, these packs include a printed copy of our FREE 'Guide to Navigating Life with a Neuromuscular Condition' along with a selection of curated gifts.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteer knitters, the MDA Divas, as well as and for their generous contributions to these care packs.

Thank you to our community for joining us on this special day 🧡

Happy International Volunteer Day! 💙

Our work wouldn't be possible without the heart and dedication of our amazing volunteers. Shout out to Ben (featured above) ⭐ and all our Client Services, administration, program, and activity volunteers who give their time, skills, and passion to support our community with such care.

Special recognition to the MDA Divas, our talented volunteer knitters who lovingly create comforting shawls for people living with neuromuscular conditions. Every stitch is made with warmth and care. 🤍

Every contribution they make creates meaningful ripple effects throughout our community. We thank them for being part of what makes MDA special.

Want to help our volunteer knitters? We'd love donations wool to support them in creating more beautiful shawls for our community. Reach out to find out more.

Happy International Day of People with Disability! 💜

This year's theme — Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress — reflects what our community knows to be true: when we create genuinely inclusive societies, everyone benefits.

Today we celebrate the thousands of Australians living with neuromuscular conditions who prove every day what's possible. Like Fid, pictured on the right who hosts our Wheels & Reels fishing events —one of which is happening right now at Mordialloc Pier!

From powerchair athletes and disability advocates to business owners, artists, and community leaders, our community is advancing social progress by living life fully and authentically.

True inclusion means removing barriers, amplifying voices, and creating opportunities for everyone to participate. Whether it's accessible fishing events, powerchair sports, or community programs, let's build a future where disability representation is the norm.
