Boston College EMS

Boston College EMS is a student-run, all-volunteer, quick response, emergency medical service that has served the Boston College community since 1997.

We provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care, through highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), at numerous school-sponsored events and functions. Additionally, in early 2012, Boston College EMS added a Class V non-transporting ambulance to our coverage. The ambulance is operated 7 days a week and responds to all campus emergencies. We also are responsible for running various training cours

es in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Medical Education, and promote EMS awareness and campus safety to the entire university community.

On Sunday, we hosted our annual Senior Awards Banquet to highlight the amazing accomplishments of both the class of 2025 and all of our members throughout this year. Thank you to everyone who made it a success, including our Eboard and our keynote speaker Dr. Greg Kirby, Eagle EMS Alumni! We are endlessly proud of our seniors and can not wait to keep celebrating them!!

Congrats to our last MOTM of the year: Zach!! As an aspiring EMT with mere days left in his course, Zach has consistently demonstrated his will to learn, develop hands-on skills, and contribute to BCEMS. Some examples of Zach’s recent contributions include his role on the BC Be Prepared team where he films and edits the videos, his willingness to pick up an overnight shift with a practical exam scheduled for the next morning, and even physically running from Gasson to Vanderslice Hall to respond to a patient in distress. His positive attitude and lively spirit is contagious to our member. Keep up the great work Zach!! 🎉🚑🎉🚑
