Have you ever had URINARY TRACT INFECTION before?

A urinary tract infection is a common infection that affects the urinary system, including the bladder, urethra, and sometimes the kidneys. The symptoms can vary depending on how severe the infection is.

Common signs and symptoms include 👇

1. Frequent urge to urinate:
You may feel the need to urinate very often, even when only a small amount of urine comes out.

2. Burning sensation during urination:
Many people experience pain or a burning feeling while passing urine.

3. Cloudy or foul-smelling urine:
The urine may appear cloudy and may have a strong or unpleasant odor.

4. Pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic area:
Some people feel discomfort or pressure in the lower part of the abdomen.

5. Blood in the urine:
Urine may appear pink, red, or cola-colored due to the presence of blood.

6. Feeling that the bladder is not completely empty:
Even after urinating, you may still feel like there is urine left in the bladder.

7. Fever and chills:
If the infection begins to spread, a person may develop fever or chills.

8. Pain in the lower back or side:
This can happen if the infection reaches the kidneys.

9. Fatigue or general feeling of illness:
Some people may feel weak or unwell.

10. In elderly individuals, symptoms may sometimes include: confusion or sudden behavioral changes.

If a urinary tract infection is suspected, medical evaluation is important because untreated infection can spread to the kidneys and become more serious.

Report yourself to the hospital,if you start to experience those signs and symptoms.
