Yesterday, we welcomed a group of nursing students from the Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura (SKIMS), to our centre for an exposure and orientation programme.
They were exposed to the fascinating process of artificial limb fabrication—both prosthetics and orthotics—guided by our skilled P&O Manager. From understanding the procedure to witnessing the skill behind mobility aids, the experience was eye-opening for the students.
The students also spent time with our dedicated physiotherapy team, gaining firsthand insight into therapeutic techniques that support rehabilitation and independence.

“Steps of Strength “
Two of our young beneficiaries with below-the-knee amputations are taking confident strides, fitted with prosthetic limbs and walking proudly. Their smiles said it all: resilience and the joy of mobility regained.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Every step forward is a testament to hope, innovation, and the unwavering spirit of these young champions—and to the collective effort that makes such transformation possible.
Let’s celebrate not just the ability to walk, but the courage to keep going.
