A dental checkup might be the most important back to school prep you haven’t thought about.

One of our young patients was falling behind in school, unable to keep up in sports, and even falling asleep during class.

He looked healthy, but he wasn’t breathing properly at night. In fact, he was stopping 72 times every night without anyone realizing it!

Now? He’s thriving, because we uncovered and treated the real issue: a hidden airway problem!

At Renew, our checkups go beyond cleanings.
We look for the root causes behind poor sleep, focus issues, and daytime fatigue, so your child can start school rested, energized, and ready to thrive.

What’s your child’s go-to after-school snack?
It might be wrecking their focus.

Sugary, processed snacks can cause an energy crash right before homework — leading to meltdowns, distractions, and “I can’t do this” moments.

Try swapping chips and candy for brain-boosting bites like:
• Apple slices with almond butter
• Greek yogurt with berries
• Cheese cubes and whole grain crackers
• Veggies with hummus

These snacks help keep energy steady, sharpen focus, and keep smiles healthier too.

💬 Share your child’s favorite healthy snack — Let’s create the ultimate after-school snack list parents can save. Yours might be the one that saves another family’s homework time.

They both got 8 hours of sleep… but only one woke up rested.
What’s the difference?

👉 For 1 in 3 kids, hidden airway issues cause poor sleep — leading to focus problems, mood swings, and struggles in school.

Mouth breathing, snoring, and teeth grinding are often overlooked signs that something deeper is going on.

At Renew Wellness Dentistry, we specialize in uncovering the root cause — so your child can sleep better, breathe easier, and thrive in the classroom.

Straight teeth are great, but your smile tells a much deeper story.

August 11 is National Align Your Smile Day, and it’s the perfect time to ask:
Is your bite silently affecting your breathing, sleep, or energy?

At Renew, we don’t just straighten teeth. We optimize airway health to improve sleep, breathing, and long-term wellness.

A misaligned smile can restrict your airway, trigger mouth breathing, and disrupt your body’s ability to rest and recover.

If you or your child snores, grinds teeth, sleeps with an open mouth, or struggles to focus…
the issue might be more than dental. It could be your airway.

This August 11, start your journey to better health, one breath at a time.

Is it ADHD… or just poor sleep?
If your child snores, grinds their teeth, or mouth breathes at night, it might be more than “just how they sleep.”
Airway issues can cause poor sleep — and that can lead to:
⚡ Trouble focusing
😡 Mood swings
😴 Daytime fatigue
😣 Behavioral struggles

These symptoms often mimic ADHD, and many kids are misdiagnosed — when the real issue is how they breathe.

At Renew Wellness Dentistry, we look beneath the surface to uncover what’s really going on — so your child can sleep deeper, focus better, and finally thrive.

Back-to-school struggles? It might not be what you think.
Snoring, teeth grinding, bedwetting, or focus issues during the day may all point to something deeper — a hidden airway problem that affects how your child sleeps, breathes, and functions at school.

At Renew Wellness Dentistry, we specialize in uncovering and treating these root causes through non-invasive, airway-centered care. Our goal? Help your child get the sleep and oxygen their growing body needs — so they can show up rested, focused, and ready to thrive.

Tired of hearing ‘everything looks fine’ when you know something’s off?

At Renew Wellness Dentistry, we hear that all the time. Patients come to us after years of being dismissed or told, “this isn’t a dental problem.” But what if it actually is?

Here’s why our approach is different:

1️⃣ We take your symptoms seriously. Always.
We truly listen to your concerns and dig deep to find the root cause—not just cover it up with a quick fix.

2️⃣ We care about your whole body, not just your teeth.
Your oral health affects how you breathe, sleep, focus, and feel. We look at the big picture—because your mouth is connected to everything.

3️⃣ We use only safe, biocompatible treatments.
No outdated methods. No toxic materials. Just care that supports your long-term health.

If you’ve been looking for answers, this might be the place where it all starts to make sense.

to the week that changed how we practice dentistry forever.

In January 2024, we spent four immersive days at The Breathe Institute in Beverly Hills and Calabasas—and walked away changed.

That’s when we officially became an OPS Affiliate. But more than a title, it marked a shift in how we see, diagnose, and treat airway and whole-body health.

We trained side-by-side with some of the best in the field—Dr. Soroush Zaghi, Dr. Kevin Coppelson, Jen Rodriguez (Director of Operations at The Breathe Institute), Leyli Norouz-Knutsen (Founder and Managing Director of The Breathe Institute), and Sanda Valcu-Pinkerton, RDHAP (Director of Myofunctional Therapy at The Breathe Institute).

Why does this matter for you?
Because now, we’re even better equipped to spot what others miss—like airway issues that can affect your sleep, your focus, and your energy. We didn’t just level up our skills—we leveled up the care you receive.

This work goes far beyond teeth.
We’re here to help you breathe better, sleep deeper, and live healthier—every single day.
