Identity is an internal filter in our subconscious mind and actually the strongest force that controls our behaviour, because we all have a need to act consistently with the way we identify ourselves.
So the way we identify ourselves is super important!, because it informs the action we will take.
Believe what you deserve and match the self talk. For example if you are working towards a fitness goal, your identity is:
"I am a high energised athlete"
"I am a healthy mum"
"I am a strong athlete"
"I feel good, when I exercise"
If you think you are overweight, tired, unhealthy or don't deserve that fitness goal, then you will not progress, because you will take the action by how you identify with yourself.
You can apply this to any goal, relating to work, money, relationships, business or personal development.
Empower yourself to take action, by reading and writing down the identity you choose, every day, until it becomes ingrained subconsciously, because once you embody that identity, in the moment, it will be easy to continue to take action, when you feel like you can't. You just need to remember who you are growing into 💥

MONDAY MINDSET.
Anchoring yourself to a positive outcome of having already achieved the goal and visualising it consistently, is one of the quickest ways to stay focused and achieve your goal.
Imagine what you would see and feel?
You can start with finding 2-5 minutes in your day to do this, while taking deep breaths to calm the nervous system and repeat for the next 14 days to empower your focus. You can apply this with any goal.
In NLP, this process is apart future pacing and goal activitation and is very powerful in creating change and applying specfic anchors for you attached to positive outcomes.

3 WAYS TO BECOME CONSISTENT 💥
Our subconscious mind, loves to resist change, when we are trying to form a new habit and crowd out the ones that no longer serve us in what we want to achieve. Our subconscious mind, runs all of our habitual habits on autopilot and by default. It will test you! So you need to be prepared to keep going.
Consistent action is one way to build up a habit and create change. Try these 3 TIPS to help you create more consistency and focus.
Begin your day, with thoughts that will evoke positive and empowering emotions, whether that's past memories of what you have achieved or visualising a future memory of achieving your goal right now. What would you see? and how would you feel? If you are not intentionally about your thoughts and feelings that drive your behaviour and actions, your subconscious mind, will choose for you by default.
Intention and the reason WHY you are choosing to form this habit or create change, will help you progress. Read it every single day. Repetition and practice is where you will start to reprogram your subconscious mind. When you know WHY you are doing something it's inspiring and will help you take the action, even when you can't not be bothered.
Choose Beliefs and adopt the identity of the person who has already achieved the goal. You will always act consistently to what you think and how you see yourself.
Don't get caught up in pefectionism and always remember failing is apart of process and is an OPPORTUNITY to do things differently. Get back up and keep going, because the outcome and who you will grow into is totally WORTH it!

1. Focus on what you want, not what you don't want.1
2. Self-talk - The language and the way you speak to yourself needs to be encouraging and positive, as the way you see and think of yourself, you will always act consistently with that belief.
3. Don't talk about people negatively or gossip, or tolerate it in your circle. Projection is Perception.
4. People will always judge you, so just do you.
5. Try to accept things for what they are - not what you perceive and make up a story that they mean.
Oh and drink water and mind my business 😉 dancing and music will help raise your energy and state and is actually the quickest way to change your physiology.

Motherhood Personal Share❤️
I remember bringing you home as a new born and you would have been a week old and my energy and vibe was so low. I was getting frustrated at myself and feeling very overwhelmed and worried if I was doing the right thing as a new mum. The day you wouldn't stop crying after I had done everything I thought I could possibly do, you still wouldn't settle. Your dad came home and upstairs not long after and asked me how I was, I burst into tears and passed you to him and not long after you settled. It was such an emotional ride for the first month and I soon realized I was experiencing post natal depression. I found resting, getting outside in the fresh air, sun and looking after myself through kindness, releasing expectation and putting some self care practices in place I soon found myself again. I learnt that its OK to speak up and get help and support. I am so grateful for my family who were able to help me navigate through this and will always advocate and be passionate about mental health and raising awareness.

Hi Everyone 👋

I'm Hems and have lived in Port Hedland for 10 years, a partner, working mum and passionate about helping others.

Healthy with Hems is a coaching and mentoring business founder by me that offers services & products. It came to life after overcoming my own health struggles in 2015, where I was at my heaviest, no confidence, lack of self-care, no motivation to exercise with a poor relationship with food, over worked and mentally & emotionally drained with no energy to get through the day.

After completing studies over the years, in Integrative Nutrition, Health Coaching, Nuero Linguistic Programming and Time Line Therapy, I was able to overcome and break the cycle of unhealthy habits, by applying all that I had learnt, investing in coaches and implementing, focusing on one or two things at a time. The inner work is a continuous growth journey, as human beings we will always have things come up that block or challenge us, so it's important to have the right tools and mindset to shift and make empowering choices.

Balance comes and goes, and my life is always a work in progress I am not perfect, but moreso aware, conscious and empowered to make decisions that serve my health, my life and the things that I value.

Self-discipline starts with the mastery of your mindset. Its following through on your intentions to better yourself. Its the ability to push yourself forward and take action, regardless of how you feel. Our Story

Welcome to Simply Pure Health, my name is Hemoata and I am originally from New Zealand and currently live in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Becoming a mum in 2015 was by far my biggest achievement in life. Being a mum, puts a lot of things into perspective, of what is really important. To me it’s happiness, family, health and love. Balancing work, family and making the time for me has certainly had its challenges.

My passion for Fitness, started when I played sport at the age of 11. I was naturally good at it and was fortunate enough to make the New Zealand side for youth touch rugby and Rugby Sevens for Western Australia. It took commitment and hard work to condition physically and mentally to play at this level and am grateful for the experiences and skills gained throughout my sporting journey. I then went on and studied Sport & Fitness at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in Tauranga, New Zealand.

In 2015 I competed in my first body building competition, 7 months postpartum. For me it was all about the experience, focusing on a short term goal and doing it for me. I've always been reasonable Healthy throughout my life, but have definitely had my struggles, with food, weight and keeping on track. In 2016 I was at my heaviest, self-confidence, energy and motivation had plummeted and knew I had to make a change.

This lead me to undertake my Health Coaching Studies through the Institute For Integrative Nutrition. During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods from some of the world’s top Health & Wellness experts. The knowledge gained has been a massive motivator to make changes to my own lifestyle as well as supporting others.
