We were treated with the tour of the Virinca Trio. Soprano Darcy Bultema, who is from the area and VCSU grad among the group. Inside My Ribcage:1-4, their first song, is composed by another VC native Jocelyn Hagen. It is sparking me into some long time visioned “heArt” work. 🤩

Eat, Sleep, Relax, Forget & Protect was a phrase coined by ECS Researcher Vincenzo Di Marzo in a published paper in 1998. The ECS modulates signaling across all of our tissues and signaling pathways and he speculated that ECBs have a general function as stress recovery factors and are all survival based. Our autonomic systems are modulated by the endocannabinoids, seeking to balance all physiological systems for homeostasis.

The concept of Eat, Sleep, Relax, Forget & Protect is not just a catchy phrase, but it holds significant meaning when it comes to the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is a complex network of receptors and molecules found throughout the body that helps regulate various physiological processes such as mood, memory, appetite, and pain.
