Grove Court is a purpose-built care home. It has 61 rooms providing both personal care for those who need some assistance with daily life and nursing care.

Set in 9 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, our Grove Court home is located near the historical market town of Woodbridge, in Suffolk. Our home offers outstanding levels of service and care in stylish and comfortable spaces that provide a warm welcome for all. We provide both residential and nursing care on a long-term or short stay basis, as well as offering end of life care.

120 laps later… Today we’ve had staff, residents and visitors walking laps around our home, raising money for the charity Turn2Us!

On Mental Health Awareness Day, we completed a “Wellness Passport” which prompted conversations about the strategies we use to combat stress and anxiety.

After a lovely, open discussion together, we played Bingo… with a Twist! Residents had to answer questions in response to a number before shouting bingo!

The Autumnal feel is definitely in the air, but our grounds are still looking beautiful, will colour, texture and scent, it’s so good for the mind and soul.

This afternoon, we’ve been signing with Patrick using Makaton! Residents had a go at signing their names using finger spelling and learning some key words that they use in everyday life! 👍🏻👌🏻🤞🏻👋🏻

Harvest has been celebrated ... A wonderful Service from⛪ St. Mary's church, followed by delicious Harvest lunch together. We then planted parsley to be used in our kitchen and we made some daft looking scarecrows!! 🍂🍁🍂

Grove Court went green for the morning as part of an initiative to share our skills. We made mini bug hotels, made paper and had things mended courtesy of the Woodbridge Repair Cafe team. One youngster came in to teach a resident how to play chess too.

Stacey from Sunnyfields apiaries came to talk to us about honey bees. She really does love her bees 🐝 and told us all sorts of interesting facts about the workings of a colony.

Talking about autumn. Exercised our brains with some autumn themed "What am I"s. Remembering entering flower and produce shows, then guessing the weight of the pumpkin 🎃 (8lbs 6 if you're interested)

Musician Sean Saye returned yesterday afternoon for a wonderful performance! Resident are always very engaged and supportive of Sean!
