*بتمويل من صندوق التمويل الإنساني (YHF)*: وفد من السلطة المحلية بمحافظة الجوف يطّلع على سير تنفيذ مشروع الدعم الطارئ للمياه والإصحاح البيئي بعزلة الريان – مديرية خب والشعف

نفّذ ممثلين من السلطة المحلية بمحافظة الجوف ، زيارة ميدانية إلى مخيمات النازحين في عزلة الريان بمديرية خب والشعف، للاطلاع على سير تنفيذ أنشطة مشروع الدعم الطارئ للمياه والإصحاح البيئي، الذي تنفذه مؤسسة صلة للتنمية، بتمويل من صندوق التمويل الإنساني – اليمن (YHF).
وضم الوفد الزائر كلاً من المهندس شاكر الشايف مدير مكتب التخطيط والتعاون الدولي - منسق اللجنة العليا للإغاثة في المحافظة، والأستاذ محمد الغانمي، مدير الوحدة التنفيذية لإدارة مخيمات النازحين، والمهندس عبد الغني هيجان، ممثلاً عن الهيئة العامة لمشاريع مياه الريف يرافقهم إدارة المشروع التنفيذية.
واستمرت الزيارة على مدى أربعة أيام، جرى خلالها متابعة تنفيذ أنشطة المشروع والتي شملت توزيع 116 خزانات مياه صحية سعة 1000 لتر 3 طبقات و820 حقائب نظافة أساسية للأسر النازحة، والاطلاع على سير أعمال إنشاء الحمامات ودورات المياه والتي بلغت 55٪ ، وتوريد المياه بشكل منتظم إلى مواقع المخيمات من الكميات المقرر توزيعها.
وخلال الزيارة، أشاد المهندس شاكر الشايف بجودة تنفيذ المشروع والتزام المؤسسة بالمعايير الإنسانية، مثمنًا جهود مؤسسة صلة للتنمية وكوادرها الميدانية، إلى جانب الدور الحيوي لصندوق التمويل الإنساني في دعم المجتمعات المتضررة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار الجهود المشتركة التي تبذلها مؤسسة صلة للتنمية لتعزيز التنسيق بين السلطة المحلية، بما يضمن وصول الخدمات الأساسية للفئات الأكثر احتياجاً في المحافظة، ويُسهم في تخفيف معاناة النازحين في ظل التحديات المتزايدة.
Funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) A delegation from the Local Authority in Al-Jawf Governorate inspects the implementation of the Emergency Water and Environmental Sanitation Project in Al-Rayyan Sub-district, Khub and Al-Sha'af District, Al-Jawf Governorate.
A delegation representing the Local Authority in Al-Jawf Governorate conducted a field visit to the displaced persons' camps in Al-Rayyan Sub-district, Khub, and Al-Sha'af District, to monitor the implementation of the Emergency Water and Environmental Sanitation Project. The project is being implemented by Selah Foundation for Development, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
The delegation included Engineer Shaker Al-Shayef, Director of Planning and International Cooperation Office - Coordinator of the Supreme Relief Committee in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Ghanimi, Director of the Executive Unit for IDP Camps Management, and Engineer Abdul Ghani Hijan, representing the General Authority for Rural Water Projects. They were accompanied by the project's implementation team.
The four-day visit involved monitoring the project's activities, including the distribution of 116 three-layer 1000-liter water tanks and 820 basic hygiene kits to displaced families. The delegation also inspected the construction of bathrooms and toilets, which is 55% complete, and the regular supply of water to targeted camps, of the planned quantities.
During the visit, Engineer Shaker Al-Shayef praised the quality of project implementation and the organization's commitment to humanitarian standards. He appreciated the efforts of the Selah Foundation for Development and its field staff, as well as the vital role of the Yemen Humanitarian Fund in supporting affected communities.
This visit is part of Selah Foundation's joint efforts to enhance coordination with the local authority, ensuring that essential services reach the most vulnerable groups in the governorate and contributing to alleviating the suffering of displaced persons amidst growing challenges.
