Let’s talk about the 80/20 Rule! 🌿

Healthy eating doesn’t have to mean perfection. That’s where the 80/20 rule comes in: aim to eat nutritious, balanced meals 80% of the time, and allow yourself room to enjoy less “perfect” foods 20% of the time — guilt-free!

🥗 80% = balanced meals, plenty of veggies, lean proteins, whole grains and healthy fats.
🍰 20% = your favourite treats, a glass of wine, or that slice of birthday cake.

This approach encourages flexibility, enjoyment and long-term sustainability — because all foods can fit in a healthy lifestyle. 💚

Phase 4: The Luteal Phase.
During this phase we want to focus on consuming foods that help with slow carb release, sooth cramps and ease moods, and boost serotonin. These foods include root vegetables like carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, dark chocolate, nuts and seeds and lean proteins. 🍫

What is cycle syncing?
Cycle syncing is a wellness practice where you adapt your diet and lifestyle habits to align with the different phases of your menstrual cycle. 🤩

Phase 1, also known as the Menstrual Cycle (Day 1 - 5):
During this phase you often have sweet cravings and always reaching for comfort foods. The reason being your body is going the absolute most😭 Your oestrogen & progesterone levels are also at its lowest!

During this phase you’ll feel cramping, mood changes, fatigue, bloating and acne. 😄😒😑🙂

You also lose iron during this phase, therefore we focus on consuming iron rich foods & taking a Vitamin C source to improve the absorption. 🐟🍊

Phase 2, also known as the Follicular Phase (Day 6 - 14):
During this phase your energy levels feel depleted and you’re struggling with fatigue. We want to ensure that we maximise our energy levels by consuming fresh greens, healthy fats, lean proteins & juicy bright fruits. Your digestive system and metabolism is in full swing during this phase so try those new recipes you’ve been saving✨🐟🥑🍊🥒
