🌿 A Back-to-School Prayer for Our Children 🌿
Heavenly Father,
Tonight we place our children gently into Your hands.
As they step into classrooms tomorrow, step ahead of them, Lord.
Where their feet walk, let Your peace walk first.
You know every child by name, the confident and the quiet, the eager and the anxious, the ones who love learning and the ones who fear it.
Nothing about them is hidden from You.
Father, guard their hearts and minds.
Protect them from harm, from bullying, from loneliness, and from words that would make them feel small or unseen.
Let them know that their worth is not measured by marks, popularity, or comparison, but by the truth that they are deeply loved by You.
Grant them courage when they feel overwhelmed, focus when distractions arise,
wisdom when they are taught, and strength when the days feel long.
Place kindness in their mouths and compassion in their actions.
Help them to choose what is right, even when it is difficult, and to be a light in places that feel dark or unkind.
Bless their teachers, Lord.
Give them patience, understanding, and renewed purpose.
May classrooms become spaces of safety, growth, and encouragement.
For the child who is nervous tonight, calm their heart.
For the child who is excited, guide their steps.
For the child who feels forgotten, remind them that You see them fully.
Cover every school, every classroom, every playground, and every journey there and back.
Surround our children with Your angels,
and let Your presence be their constant companion.
We trust You with this new beginning, Lord.
Go before them, walk beside them, and remain within them, today, tomorrow, and all year long.
