Roses are red, violets are blue,
You heal my body and my muscles too.
With every stretch and every move,
I grow stronger with each exercise I choose.

🌟 Holiday Closing Announcement 🌟

As the year winds down, we believe it’s important for everyone to prioritise rest and renewal — even us! 😊

Please take note that our practice will close on Friday 13th December 2024. We will reopen on Monday 6th January 2025, so that our team can recharge and come back energised to continue supporting your health and wellness.

We encourage you to take this time to rest, move, and enjoy moments that fill your cup too. ✨

SUPPORT YOUR SPINE

Today we celebrate World Spine Day. This event highlights the burden of spinal pain & disability around the world and promotes the importance of spinal health and well-being.

Low back pain is the single leading cause of years lived with disability worldwide, according to the 2019 Global Burden of Disease study. Experts estimate that as many as 4 out of 5 adults will experience a back problem at some time in their lives [National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke Low Back Pain Fact Sheet].

So how do you support your spinal health:
- Move your body for at least 30 minutes of physical activity
- Choose exercise you enjoy
- Weight-bearing exercise is great for bone health
- Keep flexible with safe stretching
- Sit Well. Don’t sit for too long, take regular breaks
- Take care when lifting and use your legs. Avoid repetitive lifting, reaching, or twisting. Take rest breaks if you have a job that involves lots of repetition.
• Obesity is linked to back pain. Avoid loading your joints by adopting a healthy diet.
• Take time to relax
