Which heart are you wishing for?
Shared from Crohn's and Colitis Awareness

Living with Crohn’s or Colitis means wishing for things most people take for granted.

Which heart are you claiming tonight? 💜

IBD Fatigue isn’t just being “tired” — it’s a deep, relentless exhaustion that sleep doesn’t always fix.
It can feel like: • Waking up already drained
• Running on empty halfway through the day
• Brain fog that won’t lift
• Your body forcing you to slow down… whether you want to or not.
It’s often invisible to others.
If you’re living with IBD, your fatigue is real.
It’s valid.

💜 Be gentle with yourself
💜 Rest without guilt
💜 Listen when your body says “enough”
You’re doing better than you think.

Chronic illness doesn’t take a day off… not on weekends, not even on the “good days.”
So if you’re showing up today — even in the smallest way — that matters. 🤍
Rest when you need to.
Celebrate the little wins.
Be gentle with yourself.
You’re doing more than most people can see.

I was 16 and 26 in the nineties. I was navigating not being believed that I was sick in the early nineties, a misdiagnosis of an eating disorder and IBS and major surgery by the end of the nineties for Crohn's Disease. Despite that I loved the nineties. I became a Mom in the nineties ❤️

✨ End of the week check-in, Warriors ✨
How are you really doing today? 💜 🥄
Living with IBD isn’t just about the physical symptoms… it’s the exhaustion, the cancelled plans, the anxiety, the “you don’t look sick” comments, and still showing up anyway.
Some weeks we feel strong.
Some weeks we’re just trying to get through the day.
Both are completely valid.
If this week was hard for you, please know you’re not alone in it. I see you. We see you.
👇 Let’s check in with each other: Drop a 💩 if you’re struggling.
Drop a 💜 if you are doing okay .

Or just say hi 🌸
Sending love, strength, and gentle moments to all of you this weekend.
