Good evening residents of Atlantis Mamre and Pella.
News Alert: Ward 29:
The following areas are part of Ward 29:
Mamre, small holding farms on Silverstream Beach Road, Pella, Hungry Town, Pantsula Court, Die G*t, Saxon Sea, Ext.13, Edinburgh Place, Skeem, Neptune Castle, Coral Place, Shelley Court, Island Place, Pearl Mansion, Avondale, Oyster Place, Dassenberg Informal Settlement, and part of the Industrial Area.
I have been informed ward 29 has 7 positive Covid-19 patients.
The information provided does not specify which parts of the Ward the positive cases live in, and therefore it is paramount that as a community we all continue to observe the lockdown regulations as specified by the National Government and stay indoors, or when this is not possible, keep social distance and sanitize/wash hands as regularly as possible.
We will overcome this as a community, and I want to thank the frontline health workers who are performing ongoing screening in our communities.
Please observe all the necessary protocols, and do not congregate for socializing on street corners and at shops.
Community screening will be ongoing, however should you have any Covid 19 related health or contact concerns as well as symptoms, please call the national hotline on 0800 029 999 or the provincial hotline on 021 928 4102 for advice on what to do next.
