Men and women alike reach a point in their lives where they question their purpose. For men, this often happens later in life, after retirement. Women, on the other hand, may experience this earlier. It can be a challenging time, but it's crucial for women to find something that gives them a sense of purpose every morning, even if they're not as busy with children and grandchildren.

Engaging in community work, helping society, being active in the church, or using their talents in positive ways can improve overall health and well-being. These activities can also help in dealing with psychological issues like depression. While menopause doesn't cause depression, it can aggravate existing depression. However, lifestyle factors play a significant role in managing depression, such as regular exercise, proper sleep, and a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

Men, too, face challenges during this stage. Weight gain, age-related diseases, and sexual issues can affect their psychological well-being and strain relationships. It's important to remember that blaming one's partner is not the solution. Instead, open communication and understanding are key.
