Ozonated Glycerine is the newest old ozone "tool" to find resurgence under new investigation.
It was used successfully in the late 1800's and described in Chemist, Charles Marchand's book that was published in 1900 and then, like many products, it simply fell by the wayside with "newer and fancier" pharma products coming to market.
Then in 2004 a Japanese researcher lodged a patent for ozonated glycerine, showing that it was shelf stable, retained large quantities of ozone and was useful for treating various "things", of course dependent on it being prepared and stored correctly.
The beauty of this is that it addresses one of the major challenges with Medical Ozone therapies; which is that it (until now) cannot be stored and shipped for use elsewhere.
Ozonated glycerine has many potential uses, some of which I'll not post here due to FB censorship, but, broadly speaking it can be applied topically, used for oral hygiene, taken orally and used in a nebulizer as a systemic treatment.
There are also even more potential uses in a professional setting.
Does it really work?
Heck yes!
Of course, nothing is a magic silver bullet and for those dealing with chronic conditions ozone might be part of an overall protocol. but the really exiting part is that you now CAN get the benefit of ozone, at home, and without having to purchase equipment and learn the intricacies of how it all works etc.
If you feel that OG might be a useful for your own use, you are welcome to contact us for info on specific use cases etc.
OG is supplied in 100ml bottles at a cost of R1500.
While that might sound "expensive", understand that there is a massive amount of ozone that is used in the manufacture and retained in the OG.
For example, if used for nebulizing, you might use 1ml and that "could" deliver a similar dose to that of some of the IV treatment modalities.
So, a 100ml bottle would provide 100 nebs ....
There are actually so many uses that it's not possible to put all of the info into a FB post, so, call us if needed.
As always, beware that there will be many jumping onto the bandwagon and offering OG for sale, but I can assure you that it is highly technical to prepare correctly and there are not many in SA who have the ability to produce the end product that is at the very worst, equal to that described in the patent and potentially even better.
