Often as avid sports people and fans, Chiropractors have a particular interest in treating sports injuries and seeing sportsmen and women excel through optimal health and fitness. Treating sporting injuries has become commonplace in practice within our profession and we "back" ourselves in our management of sports conditions.
Some Chiropractors are members of the Federation of International Chiropractic Sports (FICS) and have furthered their studies through FICS.

Not only is sport important at a professional level but it is the best medicine for many diseases (physical and mental) and it enables you to have a higher quality of life as you will be able to do more around the house, at work, recreationally and with your families.
On this sporting note, I would like to encourage you to continue training or to start to train ASAP in a sport of your choice - it will change your health and life forever, especially after this Covid slump. A warning, though, is to go back to training slowly if you have had Covid as many patients around the world have had serious side-effects because of an over-zealous return to training.
These side-effects have included long term health issues or even loss of life due to respiratory or cardiovascular issues. Please get in touch with me or another health care practitioner if you are unsure about when to return, and how soon to return to exercise.
