Richard B. Masoetsa has about 25 years of experience in Podiatry. He ran a successful private practice in Soweto and is a former full-time Podiatry lecturer for 11 years. From lecturing, he spread his wings and for the next 11 years, he saw an overseas opportunity, where he was recruited to assist in the commissioning of the Diabetic Podiatry Clinic in a newly opened Dasman Diabetes Institute, KUWAIT, the clinic of which he ultimately became a Team Leader.

His interests, amongst others, are in the management of the Diabetic Foot Complications, preventative Diabetic foot Screening, Foot care Education, Pathomechanics, Toenail disorders, Children's feet problems and Painful feet in general.
