Thank you so much family and friends for the unconditional support, love and prayers during Lamar's fight against Tuberous Sclerosis with epilepsy. It was not easy but with God by our side we pulled through.
Even with brain surgery where 4 tumors was removed the disease still progressed and his seizures was not effectively managed due to a remaining tumor.
We remain hopeful and forever on bended knees... GOD HAS BEEN MERCIFUL😭🙏🏼.
With another brain surgery coming up in March 2024, we know God has prepared the path and outcome to his Will.
Being a mother of a child who is just six years old with Epilepsy is not easy. *NEVER HAVE I PROPERLY GRIEVED ANY OF THIS* always being strong for my lil one so that he feels secured when confronting a seizure with mixed emotions but let me tell you - it absolutely terrifying😭😭❤🩹.
This journey has been exhausting but I am proud of it all.
PROUD OF YOU MY SONSHINE ❤️.
Four years of endless high fevers, rushing to this and that hospital. Multiple admissions lasting up to two weeks.
CT and MRI Scans, EEG after EEG, heart, kidney, spine and eye scans yearly to check for tumors.
Seizures day and night. Keeping time and noting how long they last (2 min, 5 min, 2 hours)
Medication after medication - Urbanol, Epilim, Lamictin (skin reaction), Sabril (lost of corner eye vision), Keppra, Trileptal.
Increase of appetite, increase and decrease of weight, change of doses with medication, hyperactiveness on a high.
Even with a successful brain surgery done on the 29 May 2023.
We have another coming up in March 2024.
Where the last tumor will be removed.
GOD HAS PLANS FOR YOU MY SONSHINE - YOU ARE A TRUE INSPIRATION - YOU ARE OUR SUPERHERO CHILD - SEIZURE CHILD - WARRIOR - YSTERKIND - HEALING PRAYER - GOD THE FATHER - GOD THE SON - GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT - LOVE - 🙏🏼❤🩹
