As a physiotherapist with over 16 years of experience, I've been providing expert care to patients in Boston and beyond. Since establishing my practice, VAN DER MERWE PHYSIOTHERAPY, in Boston in 2015, I've been committed to helping individuals achieve optimal physical function and wellness.

In addition to my private practice, I've also had the opportunity to work at Louis Leipoldt hospital from 2017 to present, where I've worked across various wards, including ICU, medical, surgical, and paediatric units. My experience in acute care has equipped me with the expertise to manage a wide range of conditions and work with patients of all ages.

I've also had the privilege of working with private psychiatrist clinics from 2014 to 2024, which has broadened my understanding of the interplay between physical and mental health.

Wow, covid has been a long few years. As for many of us we're still battling with Long Covid. For some of us, long covid means long onset of poor health, others a long financial burden and for some it really knocked our businesses and way of living.

For this reason I've decided to rebrand the practice and put Covid in the past and to move forward and upwards.

2024 here we come.

Imagine you're already infected and you need to try and not give it to someone else. Once you think like that you will see how much easier it is to do what you suppose to do. ( well that's if you're a good person. )
