Being pregnant is certainly not a reason not to exercise. If anything it is a reason to exercise.

Breastfeeding week!

Often people expect breastmilk to be readily available the minute that baby arrives. This is not the case. Once baby is born and the placenta is expelled from the uterus, hormones are released to stimulate colostrum production.
This process takes a bit of time. Just keep breastfeeding.

It is Breastfeeding week. There are many advantages to breastfeeding to both baby and to mommy. Most people know about the health benefits to baby, but few know that breastfeeding uses up 100-200 calories per day! Another benefit to the breastfeeding mom is that oxytocin is released and causes the uterus to shrink quicker. A flatter belly without having to hit the gym!
