Tea, trays, and a touch of creativity ☕🎨

Our ladies spent a lovely morning creating their own decoupage tea trays — carefully choosing designs, brushing on details, and enjoying plenty of chats (and tea!) along the way.

A little bit of concentration, a lot of laughter, and some truly beautiful results 💙

Colouring in was the name of the game…but not just any colouring pages… 🎨

Our ladies were given their own personalised caricatures — and we must say, the likeness is pretty spot on! 😄💛

A fun and slightly hilarious craft session seeing everyone comparing their portraits. Lots of laughter, a bit of concentration, and some very proud artists to be.

🌸 Getting ready for Grandparent’s Day 🌸

Before Grandparent’s Day, our ladies spent a lovely morning creating special photo frames for their grandchildren and loved ones. Each frame was decorated with colourful flowers and the names of the children who mean so much to them.

It was wonderful to see everyone sharing stories about their families while carefully choosing colours and designs for each name.

These little frames will soon hold precious photos — reminders of the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who fill their hearts with pride and love. 💕

❤️ A little early Valentine’s creativity at The Whole of the Moon ❤️

I’m a little late in sharing these lovely moments, but recently our ladies enjoyed a wonderful craft morning making their own no-sew personalised heart pillows ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Each pillow was decorated with their name and finished with care, laughter, and a few helping hands along the way. Activities like this are about more than crafting — they’re about connection, creativity, and enjoying time together.

We were also very fortunate to have Bets's daughter, Ilse, join us for the craft, which made the morning even more special.

Every heart turned out beautifully — just like the wonderful ladies who made them. 💕

Today’s craft activity was all about creativity and gentle focus as we made faux stained glass butterfly suncatchers. Each one was unique, filled with colour, care, and personality — just like the ladies who created them.

Watching the light catch each butterfly was a lovely reminder that even simple moments can bring beauty, calm, and joy. These shared creative times mean so much, bringing connection, pride, and smiles all around 💛

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Violet Conchar 🕊️

Violet was far more than a resident — she was a dear friend and a treasured part of the Whole of the Moon family. She spent many years with us, sharing stories, laughter, wisdom, and warmth, and leaving a gentle imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her presence brought comfort, kindness, and a sense of home to those around her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
