Weerhou aspris iets van jou kind, tot hy/sy vra vir dit (bv. "Maak oop!") Dit skep vir hulle verskeie geleenthede om te kommunikeer.

Withhold something from your child until they ask for it (e.g. "Open!") This creates multiple opportunities for them to communicate.

LANGUAGE STIMULATION TIP 2
1-2 YEARS 💛💛💛

Kinders tussen 1 en 2 jaar oud moet 'n 1-stap instruksie kan uitvoer. Dit beteken daar moet 1 werkwoord in die instruksie wees (bv. Raak aan jou neus.")

Skep dus daagliks geleenthede vir jou kind om instruksies suksesvol uit te voer.

Children between 1 and 2 years old should be able to follow a 1-step instruction. This means there should be 1 verb in the instruction (e.g. "Touch your nose.")

Create daily opportunities for your child to successfully follow instructions.

'n Kind moet 'n item kan identifiseer voordat hy/sy die item se naam sal sê.
Skep dus daagliks geleenthede vir jou kind om items te identifiseer.

💛 Noem minstens 2 items op 'n slag: "Dit is 'n bal. Dit is blokkies."
💛 Vra vir die kind om 'n item te identifiseer: "Gee vir my die bal."
💛 Herhaal daagliks met ander items.

A child must be able to identify an item before he/she will say the name of the item.
Create opportunities for your child to identify items daily.

💛 Name at least 2 items at a time: "This is a ball. These are blocks."
💛 Ask the child to identify an item: "Give me the ball."
💛 Repeat daily with other items.
