Eight Petals of Yoga
Patanjali’s eight petals of unity presents us with a proven structure to apply in our lives as a way of discovering the entirety of our beings, both outer and inner. This structure has eight petals which working together form a complete flower (human being):
Yama: ethical practices;
Niyama: individual practices;
Asana: body movement;
Pranayama: breath practice;
Pratyahara: senses practice;
Dharana: concentration practice;
Dhyana: Meditation;
Samadhi: Absorption.
