Minimax Medical is a medical practice based in Plettenberg Bay which provides video consultations to clients anywhere in South Africa, and home/hotel visits in Plett - prioritising accessibility and convenience for patients.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role within Plettenberg Bay for a Medical Care Coordinator at Minimax Medical.
The Medical Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating healthcare services for patients, communicating with medical staff and patients, fulfilling a variety of administrative functions such as billing and follow-up care, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The most important role is to enjoy what you do.
Note, as this role is predominantly phone- and computer-based, and requires no travel to an office, this role is ideal for someone living with a movement-impairing disability.
This role is available to start as soon as the application process is finalised.

Qualifications.

Prior work experience.

Time Commitment
Minimax Medical is currently open Monday to Friday 07h00-11h00 and 13h00-17h00.
The practice phone would need to be managed from 07h00-17h00, and clinically urgent work may be necessary during a flexible lunch time, which is remunerated as such in the form of overtime.
There is no travel to work, and as long as you are in Plettenberg Bay, within signal range at the time of working, and in a quiet space, then we are happy.
1 December to 21 January will possibly include some work on weekends due to it being peak season.
There is no leave during this period except we will close on 25 and 31 December.

Remuneration
Market-related, experience-dependent, performance-based, with additional incentives.
