When we get tired our thoughts start playing tricks on us 😳 and we start believing our thoughts and then we start acting on them 💭. What we feel, we think, we do. ‼️

I feel tired (feel) I am probably not doing a good enough job (think) then we over work even more, push more (do)☠

Learn to rest. STOP.💆‍♀️ Take a moment🧘‍♀️ to reflect on what's going on around you. Look back at what you have already achieved no matter how "small" it might seem to you. 🎉🏆

STOP. BREATHE. ENOUGH. YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.

*Remember you are not your thoughts. You are more then good enough. ❤

|How to make Therapy more effective|

• Accept that growth and change can feel uncomfortable at times.

• Know and accept that choosing to enter into psychotherapy doesn't mean that you are damaged.

• Accept that it is not your Therapist job to tell you what to do or make important decisions for you. It's your Therapist job to facilitate the process, that ultimately helps you to make those decisions.

• Accept that lasting change usually doesn't happen overnight.

• Not every session will have "AHA" moments.

• Accept that your Therapist keeps boundaries for a good reason.

What a fabulous training weekend. Having a chat about Psychological Flexibility and how we can apply it into our running program 🏃‍♀️🏃

Psychological flexibility is the ability to stay in contact with the present moment regardless of unpleasant thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations, while choosing one's behaviors based on the situation and personal values that guide, inspire and motivates us. 🧘‍♀️‼️

Clarifying your values will create resilience💥. And in follow create a space of discipline, effort and enjoyment.😉

Off to an exciting training clinic with and in the ⛰. Focusing on some specific trail running skill🐐⛰, meditation🧘‍♀️ and important biomechanics🏃‍♀️🏃 for runners.

Also having the opportunity to talk💭 about Psychological Flexibility with the group of runners attending the clinic.

Super excited 😃 cannot wait to share my thoughts on this topic and how it can add value 😊 to a training program‼️‼️

Uncertainty or uncertain times has become a daily conversation. AND we are ALL most probably over that conversation. 🙄

However the second part of the conversation is still so IMPORTANT‼️‼️. 😁🤭. Focusing on what you value most will motivate, guide and inspire you👍. AND that is a conversation we need to have everyday. Whether it's with yourself, dog, cat, friend anyone. If you know what you value most, your willingness to encounter obstacles increases.🤸‍♀️💥 🧱

It is time that I embark on a new JOURNEY. Yes super scary and definitely have some doubts going into it. Courage however cannot exist without fear. ⛰🤸‍♀️

I am starting up my own practice _ease_. 😬💭
