🍼I have had 6 little ones in the last two weeks, who struggled with taking the bottle.
This puts an immense amount of stress on mommies who have to go back to work soon.
My for this ... Find the sweet spot.
🍬Between 4-6 weeks even upto 10 weeks, it is still relatively easy to introduce bottle. After that, it can become difficult.
As soon as breastfeeding is well established, then you can gently start to express. Start offering bottle, with a wide neck teat, and paced feeding. Ideally, after baby wakes up from a nap.
The "don't express or introduce a bottle before 6 weeks" phrase, is a general rule. But, working closely with a LC is advised. There are ALWAYS exeptions to this rule.
