VRMED attended to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Du Plessis and R64 Dealsville road.

The incident involved two vehicles and three patients. One patient with serious injuries was transported to Mediclinic Hospital with VR MED.

A second patient with injuries was transported to Rosepark with ER24. The third patient was treated at the scene but RHT.

VR MED provided emergency response to a collision involving a motorcycle and vehicle at the Currie and Vereeniging intersection.

One patient with serious injuries was assessed and taken to Palenomi Trauma Centre.

Emergency services including VR MED, Life EMS, ER24, and Afriforum operated at the scene.

This response vehicle, having been operational for merely a year, has successfully attended to in excess of 394 emergency calls.

We were invited by CVO Dankbaar to come demonstrate what we do and give tips on safety.

Had great questions from the very enthusiastic young ones on what to do in certain situations and showed them what an ambulance looks like from inside our friends from fire ops gave each one a chance to use the water gun to the delight of everyone.
