Dear family of Elsa Lioness
It is already 3 months since Elsa's crossed the Rainbow Bridge into a better place. We still miss her so much. Miekie still goes to her enclosure to spend some quite time before the hustle and bustle of the day starts.
Elsa has taught us so many lessons and we cherish our good memories of her. We are still honoring the Elsa's Haven outreach to assist with medical costs of other rescue wild animals in need. Elsa's life was about survival, love, loyalty, trust, joy and so much more!
Thank you again to every one who still visits Elsa's Haven. We appreciate your loyal love and support always.

Good day friends and family. Elsa got a visit from the Vet, Dr Ryan today. He did a thorough check of her neck, back and legs. Although the lady is getting on in years and shows some signs of arthritis, she is still in a good and healthy condition. She will be given medication to address the arthritis and stiffness by adding it to her favourite treat (chicken hearts). As always we will be forever grateful for all your support through the years. Also a big thank you to Lizette van Schalkwyk and the Zanchieta Wild Cat Farm team.

Thank you very much to Oom Gert and Tannie Anna-Marie Engelbrecht for the generous donation of cement, Sand, cutting blades, brooms and mos. Now Miekie and the gang can upgrade my beautiful new king(queen)dom.

Thank you very much Attie Aslett for the eland head all the way from CLARENS. I enjoyed eating it and shared the rest of the gifts with white lion sister Zenobia and the jackals. Be sure to come visit me when you're in Bloemfontein.

Morning to all my pride members. Today is my 7th birthday! Hard to believe how time flies by. Today is a reminder to me of just how fortunate I am to be alive. And I am also reminded of all my wonderful family and friends (both human and fellow cat). Thank you all for the wonderful gift of life that you gave me. Without your love and support I would have been a mere memory to my dear Mom Miekie. May you stay blessed and always know my heart belongs to each one of you.
