Here at our hospitals, we prioritise meaningful movement. Unlike traditional acute hospitals, where patients remain in bed for the majority of the day, at Nurture Health, your daily routine is vastly different.

From meeting with your occupational therapist in our rehabilitation gym to one-on-one sessions with your specialists, and of course, spending time with your loved ones who have come to visit, your day involves active participation, with some coaching and support from our team.

A caregiver is often a family member, friend, or trusted person chosen to support the patient at home after discharge. This may be help with mobility and bathing to medication and emotional support.

We are excited to share that Nurture Hillandale Hospital participated in the Nurture Healthcare Group's Gingerbread Man Competition this holiday season! 🎉

In the true spirit of teamwork, our patients and staff worked together to create a stunning Gingerbread Man House—and it was a labour of love! From building the walls to decorating every sweet detail, everyone came together to craft something special. 🍬🍭

This festive project was not only fun but also brought smiles to many faces as it allowed patients to engage in creative and joyful activities, fostering a sense of community and collaboration with our dedicated staff.

🎉 Congratulations to Dominique Trewern and Amoré Potgieter! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the academic achievements of two of our amazing team members at Nurture Hillandale Hospital!

👏 Dominique Trewern, one of our talented Occupational Therapists, has completed her Master's in Occupational Therapy, with her dissertation titled "The Stroke Survivor's Community Integration Experience in Mangaung, Free State". This important research will undoubtedly make a difference in the lives of stroke survivors in our community.

👏 Amoré Potgieter, our dedicated Clinical Assessor and also an Occupational Therapist by profession, has completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. Amoré's passion for both healthcare and leadership will continue to inspire and benefit our hospital and the people we serve.
