March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, pain, and in some cases, fertility challenges. It affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age — yet many suffer in silence for years before receiving a diagnosis.

Common symptoms may include:
• Severe menstrual cramps that interfere with daily life
• Chronic pelvic pain
• Pain during or after in*******se
• Heavy or irregular menstrual bleeding
• Painful bowel movements or urination during menstruation
• Difficulty falling pregnant
• Fatigue, bloating, and nausea

Endometriosis is more than “just bad period pain.” Early diagnosis and appropriate management can significantly improve quality of life.

Treatment options depend on individual symptoms and reproductive goals and may include:
• Pain management and anti-inflammatory medication
• Hormonal therapy to suppress endometrial growth
• Minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery
• Fertility treatment where necessary

If you are experiencing ongoing pelvic pain or symptoms that disrupt your life, please don’t ignore them. You deserve to be heard, supported, and treated with care.

💛 Let’s raise awareness.
💛 Let’s support those living with endometriosis.
💛 Let’s break the silence.

Dr Jaco Strydom had the privilege of speaking at the Women’s Prayer Breakfast and Half-Day Conference held this past weekend at Urth in Bloemfontein.

This empowering event was a meaningful and uplifting gathering that combined spiritual encouragement, personal growth, and practical life guidance for modern women. The program included praise and worship, prayer, and engaging sessions focused on building wealth, strengthening relationships, and making intentional life choices.

A key highlight was Dr Jaco Strydom’s insightful talk on empowerment, choice, and fertility awareness, where he encouraged women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and future. His message emphasized that understanding fertility and options such as egg freezing can give women greater flexibility to pursue their career, personal, and financial goals with confidence. 🌱
