Today marks the start of World Breastfeeding Week 2025 🌸

It serves as a reminder of how important it is to prioritise and protect breastfeeding — not just for babies, but for mothers, families, and communities too.

At Estherea, we walk alongside moms in every stage of the journey — from those first uncertain days to the many shifts along the way.
From 1–8 August, breastfeeding consultations with our midwives will be only R250, as part of our commitment to support you wherever you are.

🌸 Estherea’s Mom & Baby Group is Back! 🌸

Hey moms! We’re so excited to be starting up again on Wednesday, 23 July, and we’d love for you to join us.

This is a gentle, welcoming space to meet other new moms, connect over shared experiences, and enjoy some quality time with your little one. There’s a beautiful sense of community in the room every week—and always a few laughs (and coffee!).

✨ When: Every Wednesday at 9am, starting 23 July
✨ Where: 22 Brebner Road, Westdene
✨ Cost: R50 per class

Each session includes relaxed conversation, guidance on baby development, and a little something for you, too. Whether you’re a first-time mom or simply looking to connect, you’re so welcome here.

As we celebrate another year of Estherea, we’re reflecting on the beautiful journey we’ve shared with so many families, and the meaningful connections that have grown along the way.

For the past 8 years, all of Estherea’s birth photography has been quietly and beautifully captured by Tinette, who is also a familiar and steady support to many of our moms as a doula. She is the photographer who documents all births at Estherea, allowing for a sense of continuity, trust, and deep respect for the sacred space we aim to hold. Her presence brings both calm and care, and her ability to honour the sacredness of birth through photography continues to touch us deeply.

Throughout this month, we’ll be sharing some of the special moments she’s documented over the years. If yours was one of them, we’d love for you to share a favourite photo or memory with us 💛

To the aunts, sisters, friends... every woman who has mothered in her own way.
