Vacancy: Qualified QPB (Pharmacist Assistant)

Located at Klinipharm Pharmacy, Westway Centre, 349 Cape Rd, Newton Park, Gqeberha

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Support the Responsible Pharmacist in the Dispensary to meet customer excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine.
• Efficient dispensary administration.
• Accurate compounding.
• Provision of general health advice.
• High standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements, including but not limited to the Frontshop

REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered Retail Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
• Two years or more experience at a dispensary in retail pharmacy
• Competent dispensing on Unisolve
• Friendly and customer orientated.
• Team Player
• Ability to function well under pressure.
• Reliable transport.

WORKING HOURS
Employee will work predetermined roster hours which may change from time to time depending on operational requirements.
*The employee will be required to work on Public Holidays.

VACANCY: Pharmacist (KliniPharm, Westway Centre, 349 Cape road, Newton Park, Gqeberha)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Dispense, counsel and assist customers with required medication
• Order dispensary stock
• Ensure that the dispensary is kept in a neat and orderly fashion, including all pill files, medicine bottles, labeling, packaging etc. are packed away neatly
• Process PEGP scripts, ordering stock, ensuring all the paperwork is in order and are invoiced accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Retail Pharmacist experience on Unisolv
• Sales driven
• Strong Leadership qualities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player

Professional and accurate processing of sales. Assist and advise customers at the point of sale and in the shop with advice on their purchases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Processing customer purchases or account payments at the point of sale.
• Communicating and upselling products at the point of sale.
• Taking telephonic orders from customers.
• Daily cashing up and balancing of till.
• Provide professional customer service by assist and advise customers in the shop on their purchases, including upselling and cross selling.
• Overseeing cashups and declarations.
• Handling front shop orders
• Staff scheduling
• Customer service advisor

The successful candidate will report to the branch manager

REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Computer literate
• Retail Pharmacy Experience
• Previous experience in a similar role

Klinicare Pharmacies is proud to announce a donation of R40 000 in support of the annual “Champagne Breakfast” in aid of St Francis Hospice, taking place on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟳 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at the Fairview Sports Centre, Willow Road.
After the overwhelming success of previous years, this year’s Champagne Breakfast promises to be bigger and better than ever. The move to the spacious Fairview Sports Centre will allow the event to accommodate up to ± 400 guests — a true celebration of community spirit and generosity.

The morning’s programme will include:
• High-quality live entertainment – with the fabulous and charismatic Tarryn Light booked to perform, ensuring an unforgettable show.
• Fantastic lucky draw prizes and exciting ‘Lucky Envelope Draws’.
• A creative floral centrepiece competition showcasing local talent.

“Supporting St Francis Hospice aligns perfectly with our mission of caring for the health and wellbeing of our community,” said Deon Schoeman , Operations Director and Shareholder at Klinicare Pharmacies. “Klinicare has been a key sponsor of this annual event over the past 12 years.
