Township is economy is worth R 100 billion.

Stockvel economy is worth R 70 billion.

Spaza Shops economy is worth R 7 billion.

Yet Black People remain poor.

Shoprite has realised this gold mine.

They started mining it with big supermarkets.

Now, they are finishing it off with container Spaza shops.

Just like the Somalians & Pakistanis,

They will further suffocate Black owned Spaza Shops because of their buying power.

They will take the last remaining cents out of Black communities to Stellenbosch.

Leaving this Black communities poorer.

The best way to grow a successful community is to have the money of that community circulate among the people.

Unfortunately, Black people have not mastered this.

Stockvels in December spend billions of rands for groceries at Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Big Save and all other retailers.

All of whom are owned by other races.

Will we ever wake from our slumber?

That is why other races don't respect us.

Will they put a container in Sandton, most probably not.

But containers are good enough for Black areas.

Let us get our power back by uniting.

Finding more ways to grow our economies & create our own systems to uplift Black communities & end poverty.

The government will not do it for us.

If change has to happen, it is up to us to make it happen.

PROPOSED SOLUTIONS

How do we build wealth in Black communities?

I am not a financial expert.

I am not a wealthy individual.

I am just a concerned Black man about my People.

While reading a Book Called Capitalist Ni**er by Chika Onyeani, a Nigerian author, I was extremely amazed at the consumer driven mentality in Black communities.

I was also intrigued by how fast money of Black people leave Black communities into other races without any tangible returns.

This two combined factors has shown to be a leading cause of extreme poverty in Black communities as compared to communities of other races.

There is a lot I can say about problems in Black communities, but if I don't offer solutions, it would have been better for me to keep quiet.

How then do we move forward as a Black community.

1. Money in Jewish communities circulate among themselves at least up to 10 times before it leaves to other communities.

When it does leave, it brings back 10 times it's value.

We need to start making our money to Circulate in Black communities for as long as possible.

How do we do that?

Support Black owned businesses.

- Support Black owned supermarkets.

- Support Black owned Car Washes.

- Support Black owned Petrol stations.

- Use Black attorneys & conveyancer's when buying property.

- Buy from Black car dealerships.

- Support Black owned Tyre, fitments centres.

- Support Black owned gyms.

- Support Black owned life insurance companies.

- Support Black owned medical schemes.

- Use Black owned healthcare centres.

- Support Black owned car insurance companies.

- Use Black owned airlines.

- Buy Black owned products.

All this support will ensure that Black businesses grow, the growth of Black businesses will mean more children in that community can go to varsity, come back and improve the community.

2. Black business must improve their game.

Engage your customers.

It ranges from acknowledging a customer to a better packaging of their products.

Start insisting on feed back.

Think long term, have a clear vision on where you want to see your business grow within your community and further.

Please stop registering businesses as trading and projects.

How will you sell your products in North America if your business name is Zonke trading and projects.

Have a business name that can be used worldwide.

Learn to be patient.

A R 1 you have today that you didn't have as profit yesterday Will take you towards your dream.

Let's focus's on building our businesses.

With the right foundation, wealth will come.

3. We need to clean up our neighborhoods.

One Saturday a month getting together the whole community for a clean up will foster unity within the community & keep our areas clean.

This will have a psychological effect of people wanting to do better.

3. Form a Co- Operative Bank.

This can be used to finance all the needs of your community.

4. Form a Housing Stockvel.

Money collected will be used to have rental properties to build wealth.

5. Form a Civic organization that will be a driving force to create better lives for Black communities.

With monthly contributions of R 50, it will change our communities.

There are almost 50 million Black South Africans.

If 10 million join together ( Remember you can't save everyone), that will equate to,

R 500 000 000 per month.

R 6 000 000 000 per annum.

Money used to advance Black communities.

In 20 years, there would be no poverty in Black communities.

The government can keep their RDP houses.
Our people will build their own.

Join our page: Siyakha.

Let us engage further on how we need to build successful Black communities.

Communities that we will be proud of.

I believe there are other better solutions that I have not thought of, let us engage.

The government won't do it for us.

If it is to happen, it is up to us.

We are own liberators.

We will have economic freedom and we will know how it is to be FREE.
