As part of , our Infection Prevention and Control Team visited key areas including the Main Kitchen, Outpatient Departments, and Physiotherapy to educate both staff and patients on the importance of proper hand hygiene practices.

Proper hand hygiene performed at the right time and in the right way is essential in ensuring patient safety and preventing infections.

The Food Service Department plays an important role in preventing the transmission of foodborne pathogens. During the visit, the team reinforced the importance of consistent and correct hand hygiene.

Patients were also engaged through practical demonstrations on effective handwashing with soap and water, as well as the correct use of hand sanitiser.
