Recent research shows that engaging in regular aerobic exercise (especially group-based) is linked to reductions in symptoms of anxiety and depression. Read the full article here:

A large, pooled analysis finds supervised group exercise works best for depression, while shorter, lower-intensity activity has strong benefits for anxiety.

EEekk, my child has been referred for play therapy ... now what?
Three things to know about play therapy:
1. Children often don’t have the words to express their emotions, so they use play.
2. A child can be referred for play therapy for different reasons, such as if the child is acting out, if there has been a death in the family or changes in the family, and even to just see how the child is doing emotionally.
3. Play therapy involves more than just play: it can include drawings, stories, art and creative expression.
