I trained under Dr Brian Nook one of the best known sports doctors worldwide and have a passionate interest in sports medicine. I am actively involved in doing volunteer work for various sporting bodies. I am the official medical officer for the GARMIN professional mountain Bike team. Dr Birdsey uses the footleveler system. It is an internationally accredited system based on scientific research that aims to balance the body by restoring the arches of the feet. Dr Birdsey has a 3D scanner which he uses to scan feet and treat the arch collapse problem with the use of foot inserts. Medical aids pay for chiropractic treatment.
