All qualities we saw in this beautiful, brave woman today!

They came into the birth unit this morning, smiling just before 6:00! By 8:00, she was happy and content at a shocking 9cm! We started mobilizing and doing some relaxation techniques and soon, she was ready to push!

At 10:00 on the dot, their beautiful baby boy was born after only 2 big pushes! Well done and congratulations Crystal, Ryno and big sis, Ava on the birth of Zandré! He is so beautiful and you were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! It has been such a blessing to be part of your journey! Enjoy all the newborn cuddles!

Good morning everyone.

So much has happened since I've last been on here.
And the time has come for me to make a very big announcement.

I have decided to step down from Doula work.

For now.

It has been a very hard decision for me to make, but it is what's best for our family for this season.

Thank you to all the wonderful clients I have had the honour of journeying with. I will carry your families in my heart forever! It has been a joy to walk alongside each and every one of you.

Doulaing will always be something very dear to my heart, and I don't think I will ever be able to do something as fulfilling as loving on families as they welcome a new life into the world. So who knows, I may be back one-day!

For now, its goodbye from Doula Lindz...

"The moment your heart stopped beating, mine changed FOREVER."

I've been quiet. I know.
My family in Cape Town (Mom, Dad and sister) had all been hit very hard with Covid at the end of July. And on the 28th of August, my mom went to be with The Lord. My heart is irreparably broken. I will never be the same person I was before. I don't yet know how to exist in a world where she doesn't. She was more than just my mom. We were friends.

My Dad and sister are at home and getting stronger day by day. 🙏🏼

My sincerest apologies to clients I owe postnatal visits to. I promise to catch up and get in touch soon.
