Kindly note that Shepherd and Mann Optometrists is no longer open. Osmans Optical bought the practice in January this year as Mr Mann had cancer and has since passed away.
Although the signage is still up, no idea why, we are sad to see reviews of the practice have declined.
Mr Mann had a good reputation in Brakpan. I would not like to see his good name tarnished.

It is with a heavy heart that we wish to tell you that Mr Larry Mann has had to retire, without notice, from his practice.
He was diagnosed in September 2024 with cancer. He is unable to continue working.
We wish to thank you all for your many years of support and loyalty. We can assure you that this decision was not taken lightly.
The practice has been sold to Osmans Optical. You will receive good care and professional service from the new optometrist. We would like to wish Osmans many happy years in the practice. May they grow from strength to strength.

We are looking for a domestic lady for our Optometric practice in Central Brakpan to start immediately. Age 40 - 50.
Duties include: cleaning, making teas, lunches, washing up etc. Must have basic cooking skills and speak English. Reliability is a must.

It is with a very sad heart that we wish to let you know that our domestic helper, Masabata (Jeanette) Zitha passed away last night. She worked at our practice for 17 years. The staff and Mr Mann are heartbroken to hear this very sad news. She will be sorely missed. Condolences to her family.
