My Last Day in Africa –
A New Journey Begins
The sun rises slowly, casting its golden glow over the familiar landscapes that have shaped me.
The air is thick with the scent of earth after the rain, a smell I will carry with me no matter where I go.
The distant sound of birdsong mingles with the soft rustling of leaves as the wind whispers through the trees.
Today is not just another day—it is my farewell to the land that has held me, challenged me, and shaped me into who I am.
I walk barefoot on the soil, feeling the pulse of Africa beneath me, grounding me one last time before I step into the unknown.
My heart is heavy with goodbyes, yet light with anticipation.
I take pictures of everything, knowing that no camera can truly capture the depth of what I feel.
The people, the places, the sunsets that seem to set the sky ablaze—each moment is etched into my soul.
I tell those around me how much I love them, knowing that distance will never break the bonds we share.
I speak to strangers, sharing stories, laughter, and perhaps a few tears. Life is meant to be lived boldly.
Too many people leave this world without ever being truly seen, without their stories being remembered.
So I take my life and make it the greatest story ever told.
This journey is not an ending but a beginning—one where I step fully into my power, knowing that every challenge I have faced has prepared me for this moment.
The past years have tested my patience, humbled my spirit, and at times left me feeling powerless.
Mars retrograde brought struggles, exhaustion, and moments of doubt.
But today, I leave that behind.
The fog is lifting, the road ahead is clear, and my fire is returning.
I am ready.
