πΎ World Tennis Day β Game, Set, Match! πΎ
Itβs World Tennis Day, the perfect excuse to grab a racket, head to the court, and enjoy a great game of tennis! Whether you play competitively or just for fun, tennis is a fantastic way to stay active and healthy.
But like any sport, injuries can happen. One of the most common tennis injuries is Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis). This injury is caused by overuse of the muscles and tendons in the forearm, leading to pain and weakness around the elbow.
π₯ What does rehabilitation involve?
Rehabilitation focuses on helping patients return to normal activity safely and may include:
βοΈ Physiotherapy to strengthen the muscles and improve flexibility
βοΈ Targeted exercises to reduce strain on the elbow and forearm
βοΈ Pain management techniques
βοΈ Gradual return to activity to prevent further injury
At Brits Sub-Acute Hospital, our rehabilitation team helps patients recover from injuries and regain strength, mobility, and confidence to get back to the activities they love.
Stay active, play safely, and enjoy the game! π
