Is living a healthy lifestyle part of your resolutions?Here is a guide on how to make the best out of it

1. Reflect on your past habits
~ Were you consuming alcohol excessively? Was your diet high in sugary foods and fatty foods?
~ Were you exercising regularly?, Were you resting enough?
~ were you following fad diets( the lose weight fast diets)

2. Set SMART Goals
~ setting SMART goals for yourself will make it easy for you to achieve your goals
~ Your Dietitian,Doctor,pyschologist will help you respectively

3. Ditch the diet trends
~ There are so many trends out there and that makes it difficult for one to achieve their goals . Some of these trends are unsustainable
~ Choose to live a healthy lifestyle instead of a temporary diet , this way you’ll reach your goals and be ableto sustain a healthy lifestyle

4. Consult with accredited professionals
~ Dietitians, Nutritionists are trained professionals that will help you to transform your diet into a healthy lifestyle that suits you consult with then for your dietary needs .
~ Also consult with other medical professionals that deals with different conditions so you can make informed decisions

5. Create daily habits that will help you to achieve your goals
~ be it taking digestive walks after supper
~taking time to journal and reflect before bed
~planning meals ahead
~exercising 30 minutes a day , 3x a week
~ drinking water atleast 2 liters a day
~ including fruits and vegetables in your diet
