BEING is all that is necessary. Achievement is empty. We leave with none of it. We are here to be, not to do. We are human beings, not human doings. So, to be a micro expression of God in a single experience is enough. What more is there?
Remembering... To Re-Member...
A voice came to me earlier this year and kept repeating.... "Remember who you are". At first I thought it was something telling me I need to remember that I am some important celestial being here to complete something important, a special mission.
It has become extraordinarily apparent what it was trying to tell me...
I looked in the mirror one day and saw a human, a body that belonged to me. I was not this being, I was not the thoughts, I was not the choices, I was not the words. I was the awareness observing the experience. I was what cannot be turned off... the awareness of vision the eyes provided, the awareness of the feeling and sensations the skin and the emotional body, the nervous system provided, the awareness of the sounds the ears provided, the awareness of the breath the lungs breathed, the awareness of the smells the nose received. I am pure infinite awareness, being given the opportunity to observe an experience of life here on earth.
I realised that there were no choices that "I" made, it was only the ego, the voice inside my head, convincing me that it was the true self, that was making the choices. I started to understand that all the decisions had already been made I was only here to understand them.
i began to understand. If I was actively making each choice for each deliberate action, it would mean that I would then need to make a decision to decide... and then a decision to decide to decide, becoming an infinite loop of recurring decisions. I began to understand that i did not come to make the choices but to observe the choices already laid out, to understand why they were made.
"So then how to we make or break our experience, if we have no direct control?" I asked myself.
We break it when we believe we are our thoughts, our body, our ego, and attach to the experiences, people, material possessions and emotions.
We make our experiences by quietening the mind and acting on what arrives with our highest excitement to the best of our ability, without reaching, resisting or any expectation of the outcome. Calmly, peacefully without judgement.
I Remember. I am Infinte Awareness.
